Calling all young storytellers! Children aged 7 to 13 are invited to a fun and creative morning at Central Library this summer with award-winning local author Camilla Chester, known for her inspiring books ‘Call Me Lion’ and ‘Project Pony’.
Join Camilla on Friday 15 August 2025 at 10am for an exciting Story Building session on the First Floor in the Children’s Area. This interactive event will encourage young minds to explore the art of story telling through hands-on activities, helping them to craft their very own poem or short story.
Whether your child dreams of writing books or simply loves stories, this event offers the perfect opportunity to learn from a professional writer in a welcoming, creative space.
