As from the 1st August 2010, the Government have withdrawn the funding that allowed us to be able to provide FREE swimming sessions for under 16's and 60 & over's.

However Active Luton and Luton Bororugh Council are pleased to announce that  free swimming for Under 16's will continue throughout the summer holiday period.

Active Luton will also honour its commitment to published sessions in our Kidz Around Holiday programme, which allows over 60's to swim FREE of charge

This applies to the following pools and sessions

Lea Manor Recreation Centre

• Mon - Thurs - Funtime Swims 10.00am - 3.30pm
• Mon - Fri - Family Swims 10.00am -11.30am

Putteridge Recreation Centre

• Mon - Fri - Leisure Swim 1.00pm - 2.00pm
• Mondays only - Pool Mats & Balls 2.00pm -3.00pm
• Tues - Fri - Pool, Mats & Balls 2.00pm - 3.30pm

Lewsey Park Pool

• Mon 2nd Aug and Tues 3rd Aug - Funtime splash and slide 1.30pm -3.00pm
• Mon 9th Aug and Fri 13th Aug - Funtime splash and slide 9.00am -11.30am
• Mon 23rd Aug and Fri 27th Aug - Funtime Splash and slide 10.00am -12.00 noon

Wardown Swimming & Leisure Centre

• Mon -Fri - Mats & Balls 10.30am -11.50am
• Mon Wed & Fri Diving Boards 13.45 -15.30

Normal swim charges apply to over 60's outside these published times from the 1st August 2010

Normal swim charges apply to under 16's from the 1st September
