Sports Programmes

The Active people survey, which is carried out by Sport England on a regular basis tracks the population's participation in sport and physical activity. Participation levels in Luton are well below both the regional and national average.

The Active Communities team working together with key stakeholders such as team Beds&Luton, National Governing Bodies of Sport, the Luton Sports Network and local sports clubs, deliver a wide range of programmes aimed at specifically encouraging greater participation by the community.
